Dear Friends,
It will soon
be time for the Doss Volunteer Fire Department’s 36th Annual Fish
Fry. As always, it will be held on the
Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We look
forward to having you join us for good food, fellowship, fun and great prizes. Since the Doss Fish Fry is such a large
undertaking, it is time for us to begin our preparation for the Prize
Giveaway. You may be a past supporter or
someone new that would be interested in donating to our Prize Giveaway. Without the generosity and support of donors
like you, our fund raiser would not be the success that it has been.
The mission
of the Doss Volunteer Fire Department is to provide the best possible first
response service for our community and mutual aid for the surrounding
area. This is a continued challenge due
to the fast rate of growth in our part of Texas. This fund raiser has been essential to
address these challenges, making possible equipment upgrades, necessary
training and gear to protect our fire fighters and operating funds for our
department. In order to continue meeting
these goals we are once again asking for your support.
Should you
wish to donate a prize or cash to purchase a prize, please contact me at
830-669-2352 by June 30, 2019. Your
donations of $100 or more may be applied towards our grand prize or other major
prizes. We are also seeking sponsors to
help defray the cost of the Fish Fry itself. Please note on your
donation how you wish it to be used: prize giveaway or sponsorship.
We look
forward to having you join us on August 31, 2019 for the Fish Fry. Serving begins at 4:30 pm at the Doss Fire
Station, which is located at 14500 N. Ranch Rd 783 in Doss. Should you wish to find out more about our
